About Us
The Canadian Agricultural Hall of Fame Association was inaugurated in 1960 to recognize persons who have made outstanding contributions to Canadian Agriculture, the form of that recognition “to include the hanging of their portraits in a suitable gallery”.
The Association Objectives are:
- to recognize persons who have made outstanding contributions to Canadian Agriculture
- to prescribe standards and recognition
- to direct all activities pertaining to the selection of the persons eligible for recognition
- to record and to display in an appropriate manner, biographical information pertaining to inductees
- to promote interest in the study of agriculture and food generally
